The Sheep of Jesus
Psalms 103 vs. 12 says; “As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Think about the magnitude of the mercy of
God. Vss. 13 & 14 says; “As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers we are dust.” Isaiah a
prophet of God says in chapter 1 vss. 18 thru 20; “Come now let us reason together,” Says the LORD, Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white
as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You
shall be devoured by the sword;” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” God sent Jesus into the world to help us. He wants to forgive us of all our
transgressions. Believe it to the fullest extent possible that the blood of Jesus Christ will wash away all our sins when there is a willingness to repent. Once
repentance has taken place by being washed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, a change in behavior should be clearly evident to those within the church as well
as those outside of the church. The Law of Christ must be followed. The Apostle Paul had to chastise the brethren in Galatians chapter 3 vs. 1 which says; “O
foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified.”
Irrespective of the time period or subject, obedience to the word of God is mandated by God, according to the Scriptures. Vs. 26 Paul said to the brethren
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” Those who know Jesus a Lord and Savior
Must remain faithful to Him! Galatians 4 vss. 8 thru 10 Paul says quote; “But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not
gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again
to be in bondage.” End quote. How is it that those who have no belief in the living God, although they may be rich or have a television show, or a major social media
presence, have more influence over the children of God than the word of God? The words in Hebrews chapter 12 vs. 9 comes to mind. The bible says; ‘we have
had humans fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live. John 10 vs. 27 Jesus
says; “My sheep hear My voice and I know them and they follow Me.” Which begs the question. Do you know Jesus? If not you need to. Do not wait until it is too
late to yes to Jesus!
